- The Camper Special Package aids the F-250 when carrying a loaded of a camper. The package includes a high-output battery, dual electric horns, enlarged radiator, oil & amp gauges, “western style” large mirrors, wiring harness for camper, lengthened tailpipe, and heavy-duty rear shocks from the F-350
- Features Ford’s Twin I-beam setup, which was essentially 2 front axles (one for each wheel). Each axle is a forged steel I-beam. A form of independent suspension
- Uses Ford’s “Flex-o-matic” rear suspension, which features a unique device that essentially varies the leaf spring length based on road conditions. As the load increases, the effective spring length decreases, stiffening the spring to support heavier loads for a continuously smooth ride
